The door handle takes 4 AAA batteries to power (1.5V AAA Alkaline batteries). Batteries not included.

The battery life on our smart lock lasts for 180 days. When changing the batteries, pull off the front display of the door handle and replace it with 4 AAA batteries (1.5V AAA Alkaline batteries). After replacing the batteries, you'll be ready to start scanning your thumb and card again! Fast repairs, no unsafe or frustrating process to go through!

**[BIOMETRIC TECH ENTRY]**

Open the door using biometric technology! Scan your thumb for super quick entry for all ages. The scanner has a unique ID memory and will remember your thumbprint even as you age or if your fingerprints fade!

**[EMERGENGCY KEY ENTRY]**

Using the lockpick key included in the package opens the door just in case the power goes out. Includes two lockpick keys to open the door manually.

**[KEY CARD ENTRY]**

The RFID card included in the package gives you access by swiping the card on the handle. With the RFID card, you won't fumble with keys in the dark or call an expensive locksmith.

**[BLUETOOTH APP ENTRY]**

Using Bluetooth technology on your phone, open the door from anywhere and let your family and friends enter. The app works well for parents letting their kids in after school, family or friends coming to visit, opening the door for the babysitter, and more.
